Total ionic equation
A total ionic equation is an equation in which all strong electrolytes are written as their separate dissociated ions, while weak electrolytes, precipitates, and gases are written as undissociated formulas. It shows every ion actually present in the mixture. Removing the spectator ions, which appear unchanged on both sides, gives the net ionic equation.
About the IPA
The International Phonetic Alphabet is a standardized system of symbols used to represent the sounds of spoken language.
It helps linguists, language learners, and educators accurately describe pronunciation across languages.
Example: the word "hello" in British English is transcribed as /həˈləʊ/ in IPA.
