Dynamic equilibrium is the state in which the forward and reverse reactions of a reversible reaction proceed at equal rates, so that the concentrations of all species remain constant even though both reactions continue. It can only be established in a closed system. The constancy of concentrations does not mean the reactions have stopped, only that their rates are balanced.

动态平衡是可逆反应的正、逆反应以相等速率进行的状态,因而尽管两个反应都仍在继续,所有物种的浓度都保持不变。它只能在封闭体系中建立。浓度的恒定并不意味着反应已停止,而只表明其速率达到平衡。
