Titration error

滴定误差

Explanation (EN)

Titration error is the difference between the observed endpoint and the true stoichiometric point of a titration. It arises because the indicator changes colour at a point that does not exactly coincide with complete reaction. Choosing an indicator whose colour change occurs as close as possible to the stoichiometric point keeps this error small.

Explanation (ZH)

滴定误差是观察到的终点与滴定真正化学计量点之间的差异。它产生于指示剂变色的位置并不恰好与反应完全相吻合。选用变色点尽量接近化学计量点的指示剂可使该误差减小。

About the IPA

The International Phonetic Alphabet is a standardized system of symbols used to represent the sounds of spoken language.

It helps linguists, language learners, and educators accurately describe pronunciation across languages.

Example: the word "hello" in British English is transcribed as /həˈləʊ/ in IPA.
