Heterogeneous polymerisation / Heterogeneous polymerization
非均相聚合 (fēi jūn xiàng jù hé)
Heterogeneous polymerization refers to polymerization reactions that take place in a multi-phase system, where the monomers and the growing polymer chains are not dissolved in a single homogeneous phase. Examples include emulsion polymerization, suspension polymerization, and precipitation polymerization. Heterogeneous polymerization is often used to control the morphology and particle size of the polymer product.
非均相聚合是指在多相体系中进行的聚合反应,其中单体和不断增长的聚合物链不溶解在单一均相中。例子包括乳液聚合、悬浮聚合和沉淀聚合。非均相聚合通常用于控制聚合物产品的形态和粒径。
About the IPA
The International Phonetic Alphabet is a standardized system of symbols used to represent the sounds of spoken language.
It helps linguists, language learners, and educators accurately describe pronunciation across languages.
Example: the word "hello" in British English is transcribed as /həˈləʊ/ in IPA.
