Theoretical yield

理论产量

Explanation (EN)

The theoretical yield is the amount of product calculated from the reaction stoichiometry, assuming that the reaction goes to completion and the limiting reagent is fully converted. It represents the maximum amount of product that could be obtained. The actual yield is almost always smaller, because real reactions are rarely complete or perfectly clean.

Explanation (ZH)

理论产量是根据反应化学计量计算出的产物量,假设反应完全进行且限量试剂被全部转化。它表示可能得到的产物的最大量。实际产量几乎总是较小,因为真实反应很少能完全进行或完全无副反应。

About the IPA

The International Phonetic Alphabet is a standardized system of symbols used to represent the sounds of spoken language.

It helps linguists, language learners, and educators accurately describe pronunciation across languages.

Example: the word "hello" in British English is transcribed as /həˈləʊ/ in IPA.
