Thermochemical equation
Explanation (EN)
A thermochemical equation is a balanced chemical equation written together with its corresponding enthalpy change (ΔH). It shows not only what reacts but also how much heat is released or absorbed for the molar amounts given. Because ΔH depends on the amounts and physical states, these must be specified in the equation.
Explanation (ZH)
About the IPA
The International Phonetic Alphabet is a standardized system of symbols used to represent the sounds of spoken language.
It helps linguists, language learners, and educators accurately describe pronunciation across languages.
Example: the word "hello" in British English is transcribed as /həˈləʊ/ in IPA.
